A New Chapter Begins!

The  only thing I can really think of to describe this situation is to say that God is faithful. We may doubt it at times, but that doesn't mean that He becomes any less faithful. He promises to provide for us when we follow Him, and that is what He has done. He has somehow provided me with more supporters and some supporters who have increased their donations. He has brought in 90% of the support I need to go teach in Prague through TeachBeyond. He has provided for my needs, so now I am boarding a plane tomorrow evening and starting this new chapter in my life.

I have no idea what my life will look like after I get on that plane tomorrow. If you know me, you are probably thinking that I am sitting with a paper bag over my mouth trying not to hyperventilate. Let's just say that before God took control of my life, I never handled change or the unknown very well. When I left for my first year of college I thought I was going to have a minor heart attack. My relationship with God has helped me work on that. It has been a struggle, but I am learning to trust Him more and more. If there is any thing God has taught me this past summer it is that He is in control and He is faithful. Even with everything else around me changing, He is never changing. He is and always will be perfect. He will never leave me and He will always provide for me. That is one of the best things a person could ever know.

Praises:

  1. God has provided my support and tomorrow I am leaving to go teach in Prague.
  2. God has placed me in wonderful TeachBeyond and CISP communities, so even though I have hardly met any of the people I am working with, I already feel loved.
  3. God has answered prayers! I have had so many people pray with me this summer and now I see God answering those prayers in big ways.

Prayer Requests:

  1. Pray for my travel and getting settled to go smoothly.
  2. Please pray for my parents and the rest of my family. We are close and we will miss each other a lot.
  3. Since school has already started, please pray that my transitioning into taking over my classes will go smoothly and my students will benefit from this transition.
