Fall Break Trip to Germany

For fall break, my flatmate and I decided to head to Germany for the day on Saturday. We went to Saxon Switzerland National Park (not in Switzerland) just on the other side of the Czech border. We hopped on a train, stopped at a few train stations to catch different trains, then took a ferry and we were ready to hike to see some beautiful scenery. One amazing thing was that this trip didn't cost me much more than $15. I officially love European travel!

Enjoy the pictures...

Beautiful walking trail where we spent our time waiting for the ferry.

Ferry ride at the beginning of the trip. Feeling excited!

Hiking trail in the park.

Bastei Bridge

Kelly and I both took a lot of pictures... this was a sight that I saw very often.

Kelly and me on the ferry ride back toward our train station.

We couldn't have asked for a nicer day!

The fall colors were beautiful.

Praises:
  1. Praise God for this trip! It was amazing, beautiful, warm, sunny, fun, and much more!
  2. We made it to and from our destination safely.
  3. The remainder of our long weekend off from school was relaxing. Now, with school starting tomorrow, I feel well rested and ready to teach again.
Prayer Requests:
  1. That everyone will be ready to go when school start Wednesday morning and that our short week will go well for everyone.
  2. For continued rest and healing for students and teachers who have been sick lately.
  3. For our new high school PE teacher who arrived last week. He has his first "full" week of teaching this week with all of his classes. It is so nice to have our other PE teacher at school.
