10 Random Things I Do at CISP/ in Prague

(I wrote this awhile ago, just never got around to clicking "publish.")

There have been little things I have done or am doing that I want to share with you all. I couldn't figure out which posts to put them in, so I have decided to create a post that is all about some of the random things I have done. I hope these help give you a better idea about our school community and just my life in Prague in general.

10 Random Things

1. I go to church in a train station- Faith Community Church rents their space from a small train station, but their teachings and worship are just as biblical.

2. I am the first person on the contact list if there is an emergency in the school- I am one of two people on staff who are certified in CPR and First Aid. Pray that we have no life-threatening emergencies please.

3. I model for the high school drawing class- Since I don't have a class at that time and I don't mind, I have been asked quite often recently to model different poses for drawing class.

4. I study when I get home from school- I am very proud to say that I am slowly, but surly, learning more Czech words and phrases.

5. My love for the Packers has given me a reputation- Some of the students love that I love the Packers (they are smart ones and cheer for the green and gold as well). Some other people probably think I am crazy for loving a football team, since to them, football is the same thing as soccer.

6. I get excited over little things now- I found a Barq's Root Beer at a small food shop and it made my whole weekend.

7. I have eaten at a cafe in which Einstein has eaten- the Cafe Lourve is a wonderful restaurant that I have eaten at. While there I read that a few famous people have eaten there, such as Albert Einstein.

8. We had a staff retreat near Poland- We went to Liberec in the northern part of the country for a weekend. While there, we played a lot of card games, had a bonfire, worshiped the Lord, and visited a science learning center called IQ park.

9. I am the youngest staff member- That is just a random fact that I find interesting. Sometimes, other staff members like to make fun of me for it.

10. I often sound like David from the video, "David After Dentist"- If you don't know this YouTube video (you should look it up), David asks, "Is this real life?" I ask that often as well. I still can't believe that, because of my supporters and God, my job is pretty much my dream job, I get to talk about Jesus at school, and I live in an amazing city. Seriously, is this real life?
